Multi-Engine Instructor

Building on the Certified Flight Instructor license (CFI), a pilot with a MEI  will have extensive knowledge of multi-engine flying. The MEI allows experienced pilots to teach instrument training and issue instrument ratings.

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Hold a commercial pilot certificate

  • Hold an instrument rating

  • Be able to read, speak, and understand the English language

  • Obtain at least a current third-class medical certificate

  • Have logged at least 250 hours (200 for helicopters) and the required training for the MEI rating per FAA regulations

  • Pass the FAA practical test

Separate payments can be made for each flight and individual ground instructions.

Price: Single Engine $55/Hr
Airplane Rates:
Cessna 150: $95/Hr
